1 Day Bisoke Hike
This excursion takes you to one of the best hikes in Rwanda at Mount Bisoke, a volcano found in Volcanoes National park in Musanze district.
Standing at 3711 meters, Mount Bisoke has lush vegetation and a beautiful crater when you climb to its summit.
The hike will take you through
different vegetation zones starting from bamboo, hypericum and Lobelia lush giving great views of the hilly landscapes of Rwanda and a unique
encounter with wildlife like golden monkeys,
buffaloes, mountain gorillas together with the bird species.
Detailed Itinerary:
1 Day Bisoke Hike
Depending on your location either in Kigali or Ruhengeri town at 7:00 am, our driver guide will pick you up and transfer you to the park headquarters
of Kinigi at Volcanoes national park for registration and pre-hike briefing.
Later, you will then drive to Kigali at the starting point of the hike and commence the Bisoke hike with a visit to the crater. This activity will
take you about 6 hours to climb up to the summit and 2 hours to descend and 4 hours for a physically fit person later drive to the restaurant for a hot meal.
After the hike, you will drive to the restaurant for a hot delicious meal and later will then set off the engine back to Kigali and drop you
off from where you were picked in the morning.
